AudioTronix Terms and Conditions
  1. Vehicle Operation Authorization
By engaging the services of AudioTronix, the customer hereby grants permission to AudioTronix and its authorized employees to operate the customer’s vehicle as necessary for the purposes of testing, inspection, and service completion. This includes the authority to drive the vehicle on public roadways.
  1. Product Usage and Liability
Customers are responsible for using products in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. Any use beyond these recommendations is at the customer’s own risk, and AudioTronix shall not be liable for any consequences of such usage. Certain products are designated for off-road or show use only. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  1. Mobile Video Products
The use of mobile video products during vehicle operation is dangerous and may lead to accidents resulting in injury, death, or property damage. By installing such products, customers agree to release AudioTronix from any claims or liabilities arising from their use while operating a motor vehicle.
  1. Appointment and Order Policy
A deposit may be required to schedule an installation appointment or for special-order items. Cancellations or rescheduling appointments require a 24-hour notice to be eligible for deposit refund. Any special-order parts are non-refundable.
  1. Return, Exchange, and Warranty Policy
  • Returns and exchanges are only accepted within 30 days from the original purchase date and require the original receipt.
  • Returned items must be in their unused, unopened, in original condition and packaging.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment if possible. If the original payment method is not available, refunds will be issued via check. Note that cash refunds may not always be available.
  • Installation labor and parts are non-refundable.
  1. Payment and Late Fees
  • Full payment is due upon completion of services. Vehicles or other properties will not be released until full payment is made.
  • Overdue balances incur a 1.5% monthly penalty.
  • A $20 per day storage fee may be charged for vehicles not picked up and paid in full upon demand.
  • Electronic measures, such as electronic check re-presentment, may be taken to recover funds from bad checks. A $35 fee applies for checks returned due to insufficient funds. Customers are responsible for any additional collection expenses, including lawyer fees and court costs.
  • In case of non-payment, AudioTronix reserves the right to retain a mechanic’s lien on the customer’s vehicle in accordance with state law.
  1. Damage Policy
  • Customers must report any damage to their vehicle within 24 hours of its departure from our facility.
  • AudioTronix is not responsible for damages that occur in transit or for scratches/marks on vehicles that were dirty upon arrival at our facility.
  • If AudioTronix is responsible for accidentally damaging a customer’s vehicle or part thereof, we will first attempt to repair the damaged part. If repair is not feasible, then we will seek to replace the part with a used part of similar quality. Replacement with a new part will be considered based on the specific circumstances.
  • In cases where AudioTronix offers a discount on services as compensation for any damages, the acceptance of this discount by the customer will be considered a full and final settlement of the matter. By accepting the discounted service, the customer agrees to waive any further claims against AudioTronix related to the specific incident of damage.
  1. 8. Installation Warranty
  • Lifetime warranty against installation-related defects for products purchased from AudioTronix, applicable as long as the original purchaser owns the product.
  • 30-day warranty for installation services on products not purchased from AudioTronix.
  • The warranty does not cover damages or defects caused by misuse, normal wear and tear, modification, or external causes such as accidents.
  1. 9. Manufacturer’s Warranty and Service Fees
  • AudioTronix honors a “pass-through” warranty for all products sold by us. In cases where a product under warranty requires service, we will assist in the warranty process as per the manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • For items not purchased from AudioTronix, customers are responsible for managing warranty claims directly with the respective manufacturer. This includes filing claims and handling all associated shipping arrangements and costs.
  • For products under manufacturer’s warranty failing within the warranty period, AudioTronix will facilitate repair or replacement according to the manufacturer’s terms. Reinstallation in the original vehicle is free, except for a shipping and handling fee. Unclaimed repaired items after 30 days will be forfeited. Diagnostic fees apply for services outside the warranty scope.
  • For products outside their manufacturer’s warranty period, a service fee will be applicable for repairs or replacements not related to installation.
  1. Warranty Service
  • It is the purchaser’s responsibility to return the vehicle to AudioTronix for warranty work to be performed. AudioTronix will not be held liable for any external repair charges that were not brought to our attention first if thought to be related to our installation. Reimbursement of repair work or items damaged will not be honored unless it can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt that the damage caused was a direct result of our installation or product.
  • Warranty service requires an appointment and original proof of purchase. Drop-in warranty service is not available.
  • Normal installation charges apply for all used and non-AudioTronix purchased equipment. If product is deemed defective, labor charges will not be waived or refunded.
  • The warranties provided by AudioTronix, including the lifetime installation warranty and any manufacturer’s warranties, are non-transferable. Warranty coverage terminates if the original purchaser sells or otherwise transfers the product or installation service.
  1. Modification of Terms
AudioTronix reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time and without prior notice. Changes to the terms will be effective immediately upon their implementation. We encourage our customers to review the Terms and Conditions periodically to stay informed of any updates. Continued use of our services and products following any modifications indicates acceptance of the new terms.
  1. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision shall be replaced with an enforceable provision that as closely as possible reflects the intent of the original provision.
